Its beautiful but ...

Though it is beautifully done and interesting, it does not live up to my expectations of the potential. It seems more like a mini TV episode with a few brief pauses for activities thrown in. The 3 y/o DGD enjoyed the activities the first time through, but it did not really hold her attention long and she was not interested in repeating them. Perhaps its targeted at young toddlers who are newer to the digital world. While I will say its a nice app, we did not find it an appropriate challenge nor did it offer enough open free play or interactivity for our pre-schooler. For example, the build-your-own snowman is really just pick-your-parts and watch the app put it into the expected places giving the child has no option to drag pieces where they want or use pieces in creative ways. Im a bit disappointed as its not really a great game, not really a video, definitely not a book. Hopefully upgrades will bring out its full potential.
